In winter
Stalheimskleiva is a seasonal road and the hotel keeps a summer season. E16 through the valley below runs all year, so you pass the place — you just cannot get up to it.

Background
Stalheimskleivi er en 1,5 til 2 km lang veistrekning i Voss og tidligere del av E16 mellom Voss og Sogn. Før E16 ble lagt i tunnel på 1980-tallet, var den del av hovedveien. I 2021 ble strekningen permanent stengt for motorkjøretøy.
