1,566 stone steps and 448 metres of ascent in under two kilometres — 2–3 hours round trip, steep the whole way. Coming down takes almost as long as going up.
In winter
The sherpa steps are 1,566 of them in steep ground, and in winter they are ice and snow with avalanche risk in the upper section. The municipality asks people to stay away, and that is not a formality — people have died there.

Background
Reinebringen (484 moh.) er et fjell i Moskenes kommune lengst vest i Lofoten. Fjellet er et av de mest besøkte fjellene i Norge, med 215 000 besøkende i 2023. På grunn av slitasjeskader er fjellet tilrettelagt med en steintrapp.
